What You’ll Do

Our Operations Manager keeps a close pulse on the floor. You’ll greet every table, provide on-the-spot coaching to team members across all front-of-house teams, and take the lead when guests raise a concern. You’ll be the cheer squad for the front-of-house, bringing energy, motivation, and positivity to every shift. This role is hands-on, people-focused, and central to how we “Amp the Experience.”

  • Keep a Pulse on the Floor. You’ll be everywhere at once - greeting tables, checking in with guests, and keeping the energy high across the venue. You’ll know what’s happening before it happens and make sure every guest feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
  • Lead the Guest Experience. Jump in fast, resolve issues with calm professionalism, and turn tough moments into memorable ones. You’ll bring that “master’s degree in hospitality” energy that disarms, delights, and builds trust.
  • Drive the Flow. Work with hosts, servers, and gameplay ambassadors to keep table and simulator pacing smooth and wait times low.
  • Coach in Real Time.  Support and lift the team mid-shift with quick, clear feedback and encouragement.
  • Plan & Optimize Schedules. Develop various team schedules that balance labor budgets with zone coverage, then submit them to the AGM each week. Adjust monthly scheduling in response to predicted volume changes
  • Support Training & Development. Assist with onboarding and cross-training new team members - showing them “the Batbox way” of hospitality and helping them grow in skill and confidence.
  • Cheer Squad. You’ll be the hype engine on the floor - celebrating wins, lifting spirits, and setting the tone for service. When the team feels your energy, the guests feel it too.
  • Own the Shift. You’ll help lead opening or closing routines, support shift transitions, and step in as acting manager when needed. You’ll lead huddles, and keep everyone aligned and energized.
  • Collaborate Across Teams. Partner with Director of Venue Operations, Assistant General Manager, Bar Manager, Host & Support Manager, and Culinary team to keep service seamless
  • Brand Check. Ensure that every Batbox standard -  from uniforms and greetings to cleanliness and service steps are consistently met across the floor.
  • Communicate. Set the next shift up for success by adding detailed manager shift notes to 7shifts.
  • Reinforce Core Values. Consistently weave Batbox’s core values and strategic pillars into every pre-shift, meeting, and coaching moment
  • Drive Training Compliance. Fuel our commitment to our strategic pillars by ensuring your team achieves 100% compliance with training requirements
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives. Champion roadmaps and action plans for your area, leading initiatives that advance our strategic pillars while reflecting our values
  • Leverage Operational Tools. Effectively utilize 7Shifts for scheduling,  team member documentation and R365 for inventory management, ordering, invoice processing and payments
  • Lead with Alignment. Act as an integral member of the venue leadership team, ensuring that every decision aligns with our values and strategic pillars.
